The women’s championship season continues this week with the Maine Senior Women’s Amateur at Waterville CC on September 12-13. The state’s top players age 50 and older are competing at the central Maine course in the last full-field women’s championship of the 2023 season. On Tuesday’s first round, the entire field will tee it up in hopes of advancing to Wednesday’s final round. The top 27 scorers (and ties) after day one will return to Waterville on Wednesday where the champion will be named.
