The busy tournament season continues here in New England this week, with the New England Junior Championship going on across the border in the White Mountains on August 8-9. Maine will be among the other five New England states sending ten junior golfers to the Mt. Washington Resort GC in New Hampshire for this annual competition among the northeastern states. Each state is represented by ten junior golfers, made up of seven boys and three girls.
The 54-hole championship is both an individual and team competition. The field will play 36 holes on Tuesday, August 8, and 18 holes on Wednesday, August 9 at the scenic Donald Ross course in New Hampshire. The players representing the Pine Tree State this year are:
