Having a digital profile in GHIN is the best way to track all things related to your handicap. Using the online link or the mobile app, players have access to score posting, handicap lookup of other players, stats from your rounds, a Course Handicap calculator, and a history of your handicap over the months and years.

To post a score to your GHIN account or to look up any player’s Handicap Index® online, click on the button below. You will need your GHIN® number or email address in order to log in and use the search feature. If you don’t know your GHIN number, reach out to Maine Golf or your member club where you maintain your handicap and that information can be retrieved for you.

Players with a GHIN account may also download the GHIN mobile app on their smartphone to have all of these features available at all times, including on the first tee when you’re trying to see how many strokes you’re getting off your buddies!

Below are some tips for using the handicap lookup option with GHIN online. Once logged in, simply click in the blue banner at the top of the page that reads “Golfer Lookup.” From there you have a few options:

Following: Under this tab, any players that you have saved by clicking on the star next to their name will appear. This is a great feature if you regularly play with the same group of players, having their handicaps at your fingertips in the same place.

My Clubs: From this tab, you can view the entire handicap roster for all clubs where you are active in the system.

All Golfers: This tab gives you the option to search for players from around the country to look up their Handicap Index. This will be the place to go to compile your list of players that you may want to add to your “Following” section.
