Maine Golf Scramble Tour
A fun format for indoor golf!
Beginning in mid-December, Maine Golf would like to run a scramble tour throughout Maine…so let’s call it the Maine Golf Scramble Tour!
Social and fun golf for all abilities!
Make your own 2-person team and play different courses at different venues throughout the winter season. Men’s, women’s and senior tees will be in play at each venue. There is no limit to the number of times you can enter. We will also offer a “non-USGA handicap index division” for those who play occasionally.
The Process: (1) Select a participating simulator location. (2) Book a time to play within the two-week block and pay the location their rate (generally two hours of sim time). (3) Enter the event by registering through Golf Genius; a $15 per person player fee (click here). (4) Play golf and record your hole-by-hole scores. (5) Turn your signed scorecard into the desk at checkout.
Prizes/Payouts: Prizes and payouts will be to the Maine Golf voucher account which means you can use your winnings at any Maine Golf pro shop/course in Maine. FMI about using and accessing your vouchers, please click here.
Booking guide: It takes 1-person 1-hour to play 18-holes (thus 2-people playing 18-holes should take no more than 2-hours). Experienced sim players may book less time or use some of their time to warm-up prior to playing their round. Always remember, you are not booking 18-holes, you are booking a time. If you can’t play 18-holes in an hour, you need to book more time.
