Maine Golf Scholarship Fund
The 2025 application window opens on March 24 and closes on May 23.
Interested students must submit an application during this time frame. The Scholarship Committee will then review the applications and decide on the class of 2025 to earn these awards.
Use the buttons below to find both forms for 2025. The “New Student Application” is for those looking to apply to receive the scholarship for the first time. The “Renewing Students Application” is for those who are already receiving the scholarship. In order to continue to receive the scholarship in subsequent years, students must maintain a certain GPA and submit a renewal application to Maine Golf every year.
About the Scholarship Fund
The Maine Golf Scholarship Fund, once known as the Maine Caddie Scholarship, is the primary charity of Maine Golf. A portion of all revenue generated by Maine Golf is set aside for the fund, which has assisted more than 500 Maine students with the cost of higher education since its inception in 1950.
To date, we have given more than $2 million to deserving Maine students to pursue higher education. Help us to continue to grow this fund and ensure it’s around for young Maine golfers for generations to come.
A goal of Maine Golf is to grow the number of recipients the fund is able to help and to boost the dollar amount of each recipient’s award. To get there, the Maine Golf Scholarship Fund relies on the generosity of donors and sponsors who support our commitment to helping Maine youth afford higher education. Every contribution made is important to this mission.
Candidates are high school seniors or undergraduate students who demonstrate an active participation in golf as a player and/or employee, who have a strong academic record, and who show financial need.
Once awarded, the scholarship is renewable for up to four continuous years of undergraduate study. New Maine Golf Scholars are chosen each year in addition to those who are renewing.
