FREEPORT — As spring draws nearer with each passing week, Maine Golf is excited to announce 2026 men’s and women’s Play Day schedules. From April through October, we offer access to some of Maine’s best golf courses, giving players of all abilities the chance to see new golf clubs and compete all across the state.
The men’s Play Day schedule will have a different look to it for those that have been playing for a long time. Due to a changing golf industry, including record numbers of golfers playing the game with each passing year, our schedule will reflect the current golf scene in Maine. The biggest change in 2026 is that now all Play Days are one-day events, with very few Saturday dates being offered. This is due in part to low participation numbers in recent years in our Saturday fields, along with the difficulty of securing host sites on weekends where our member clubs already have busy memberships and full tee sheets.
