NEW FOR 2026 – The MPA, with support from Maine Golf, has developed a high school golf ranking system for both players and teams that is easy to use and provides an overall look at golfers in all four corners of the State of Maine.
This type of information and feedback is intended to elevate the golfer experience while being fun for fans, students, parents, and coaches across Maine!

The basis for determining the ranking is the 9-hole gross score compared to the slope and course rating of the course played. The calculation is a “differential” that is comparable to other differentials for purposes of a ranking only.
