Applications for the Maine Golf Scholarship Fund will close at 11:59 p.m. on May 15, 2026!
The Maine Golf Scholarship Fund is the primary charity of Maine Golf. A portion of all revenue generated by Maine Golf is set aside for the fund, which has assisted more than 500 Maine students with the cost of higher education since its inception in 1950. To date, we have given more than $2.5 million to deserving Maine students to pursue higher education.
Prospective candidates are high school seniors or undergraduate students who demonstrate an active participation in golf as a player and/or employee, who have a strong academic record, and who show financial need.
Once awarded, the scholarship is renewable for up to four continuous years of undergraduate study. New Maine Golf scholars are chosen each year in addition to those who are renewing.
