The 2022 Maine Senior Women’s Amateur will take place at Riverside GC in Portland on September 13-14. This event is a two-day competition with gross/net prizes by age flights in round one, with the 18 lowest scorers advancing to day two to compete for the overall title of Maine Senior Champion. Last year’s champion, Kristin Kannegieser, will miss the competition this year as she continues to recover from a skiing injury. The door is open for last year’s runner-up, Leslie Guenther, and everyone else in the 120-player field to snag the trophy.

This year’s roster represents players from 41 Maine clubs teeing off at Riverside’s North course on Tuesday. Maine Golf welcomes all returning competitors as well as new “seniors,” Tracy Johnson and Heidi Haylock.
