ROCKLAND — The Mixed Championship (Alternate Shot) heads to Rockland GC this Saturday, August 15th. In this fun event, teams of one man and one woman will play 18 holes of alternate shot using the Pinehurst format. Also often called Chapman, in this format both players hit drives from the appropriate tee, and then both players hit their partner’s ball for the second shot. At that time, one ball is selected and players alternate shots until the ball is holed. A field of 88 players will take to the course at Rockland GC to determine this year’s Mixed Team Champions.
