SACO — The final men’s championship of the season takes place on September 29 and 30, with the Senior Match Play Invitational at Biddeford-Saco CC. This 16-player event is made up of many of the state’s top senior golfers, who earned their spot in the field by a top finish at the Senior Amateur or their position on the Senior Player of the Year points table. The field will play four rounds of single-elimination match play over two days, where one player will emerge as the champion to hoist the final trophy of the men’s championship season.
Past champions in the field include Mike O’Brien (2021), Scott Dewitt (2023), and Ralph Michaud (2024, 2025).
